Costa Brava

The Costa Brava is the coastal region of Catalonia in north-eastern Spain, covering the coastal towns and villages of the beautiful province of Girona in Catalonia. The Costa Brava is 300km long beside the Mediterranean Sea and backed by the Pyrenees Mountains. The region is diverse in extraordinary natural beauty and has a very deep artistic and historical heritage. Its natural beauty has always attracted the artistic community, inspiring famous artists such as Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró and Pablo Picasso. The artistic heritage of the region is exhibited throughout 65 different museums in Costa Brava.The most important natural areas of the Costa Brava are: Natural Park Cabo de Creus, Natural Park of Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, the Medes Islands Marine, Rerserve Ses Negres and the beach of the Costa Brava.
